Sports fans will enjoy in two great events – the AUSTRALIAN SQUASH OPEN and the QANTAS WALLABIES VS FIJI.

As always, there are plenty of engaging exhibitions. Highlights include Something in the Air, an exhibition of artists who utilise found objects in their artworks, at the CANBERRA MUSEUM & GALLERY; Hans Heysen at the NATIONAL GALLERY OF AUSTRALIA; and Tayenebe, an exhibition of Tasmanian Aboriginal weaving, at the NATIONAL PORTRAIT GALLERY.
